HIDDEN LIVES

LGBT rights have been a significant subject for a long time. They have been struggling against hetero people and homophobics. Due to their sexual tendencies they are forced to kill or isoleted from the society. There are such problems they face in Turkey like being killed, beaten, exposing rape, prostution, getting out of from their work…etc.

         According to Turkish traditions and due to some religious beliefs, homosexualism is a crime and sin so that people have a strict idea towards homosexualism. When people notice or learn that their relatives or friends one of the member of LGBT they want to kill that people especially in the east part of the country it is seen barer and LGBT people fear about confessing their feelings otherwise they are threatened to be killed and they have to escape  from their homes.

Besides humiliated by the society, LGBT people are beaten by their family members because their situation is seen as a guilt by the society rules. Family’s leader shames and has the LGBT person beaten.

After escaping from their homes, LGBT people are exposed to rape and can not deffense themselves. Because there is no rule to ban the rape of homosexualism. Their power is so limited they are not able to being respected whatever they do, however they are a good person.

As they do not have any help from their environment, they find the money in prostitution. Most of them do not want to do this profession but they can not do anything apart from accepting their loneliness. They face so many troubles at streets from stealing their moneys to being injured. They are humiliated by their bosses and customers. It damages them both physically and psyhologically.

As a result, they live in really bad conditions in Turkey, people’s prejudices draw their fate and leave them in a deep and dark hole. People should understand that they are also have feelings, they are also human and they are also living in the world. They should be accepted with their all pluses and minuses. Neglecting them does not mean anything or harming their body. However their body is damaged, their hormons and emotions do not change so people should give up their homophobie tol ive in a more colorful world!

Machine vs Humans

If machines take away our jobs, what would happen? Machine is a ​piece of ​equipment with several ​moving ​parts that uses ​power to do a ​particular ​type of ​work. Machines play an important role in human life since Machines are one of the inventions that makes our lives easier by doing some of the work that people do. The controversy regarding machines are whether or not machines will replace human. Although Computer experts think that unimaginable futuristic world is much closer than you think with the help of machines, some of scientists don’t accept this idea because they reckon that machines which think in the same way with people, develop logic do not seem logical to enter our lives.  Even though it has been asserted that machine can not replace us, I believe that one day machines can feel, think as human and even they do anythings which humans can not do. I think that Today’s technology is not adequate for this, but I know in near future this is possible. there are many a example which support this idea such as TrueNorth. TrueNorth which was developed under SYNAPSE Project which has been maintained by IBM (ınternational Business Machines) has learning ability as human brain. However, It is thought that This computer is expected to take years for learning as humans. If we look at history, we can see that today, there exists smarter devices than past.  Technology is getting smarter and smarter and when we think, the end of this progress is going through machine acting as human. Futurist Ray Kurzweil suggested in his book called ‘The Singularity Is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology’  that In 2029 computers will be so smart as people and in the year 2045 they will reach billions of times the levels of human intelligence. Bill Hibbard, who is the computer science expert of Wisconsin-Madison University in USA, uttered that he is certain that machines will defeat human intelligence in the 21st century. In addition, Hibbard says ‘’ that my forecast will be true means that machines will become superior from us in time people come into the World.’’

IS SEXUAL ORİENTATİON DETERMİNED AT BİRTH ?

Nowadays, sexual orientation is one of the most argued issue. Sexual orientation is a permanent qualitiy which lead to feel people romantic or sexual  attraction against the other gender .  Sexual orientation is generally divided into three categories .these categoris are heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual.Heterosexual is caring opposite sex of person.Bisexual is going in for both sex of people. Homsexual is also caring for people of their own sex.

         It is claimed that sexual orientation  is determined at birth.On the other hand many people claim that sexual orientation  is gained after birth .According to research which has came out in recent years, homosexuality is a psychological disorder which can be treated as a result of the trauma which occur in childhood.researcher who attend this research  said that people who say ı am gay  feel lonely in public because they also want to feel unique themselves. As a result of this ,they are more likely to be gay .for example ,ıf a person expose  rape or sexual harassment, person will be likely to Show sexual orientation in the future.

American proffessor Dr.Joseph Nicolosi says  "I would like to propose a socio-analytical views on the formation of gay identity. this opinion based  on perspective which ı have gained in the clinical treatment of more than 400 homosexuals during my eighteen years of professional practice as a psychologist. "Gay identity" was defined as a self-determination and human rights issues.American who love the freedom love it as much as losing ourselves. Our most effective institution-professional psychology and psychiatry, churches, educational institutions and media  fell into error about sexual orientation.Because I am sure,sexual orientation is a self-identity to deceive and mislead yourselves.’’

Downloading Music or Films Without Paying

         Today in the world most people download music or films without paying. Some of them think that downloading music or films without paying is as much of a crime as stealing  from  a shop but the others think the opposite. I believe that people shouldn’t be considered criminal because of downloading music or films

            To start with, we need money to by film or music CDs. Many people aren’t rich and they can’t buy original CDs so they have to download them on the internet. For example; 2 months ago  I wanted to buy a film CD from shop but when ı saw the price, i didn’t buy it it because it was every expensive so i downloaded it from internet.

            Secondly, I think people actually help actors or singers by downloading some film or music . How? On the internet, a lot of people download some music so the music can be more populer. The singers can earn more money thanks to this. Briefly downloading something isn’t bad thing everytime.

            In conclusion, I believe that downloading films or music without paying is useful for a lot of people who dont’t have Money because nobody has equal amount of money.

ONLİNE LEARNİNG İS BETTER THAN FACE-TO-FACE LEARNİNG.

Today’s technology allows us to make beneficial things from screens. One of them is online learning. Online learning is that teaching is done by means of electronic media.  However, online learning is a new style for people because people have been teached by face to face learning for years. İn addition, Face to face learning is a system that student and teacher can see each other.

Upon comparing online learning and face to face learning, we detect that skills, strategies, and techniques used in face-to-face learning environments will also work well in online learning. However, there exist many a difference between them. For instance ,Whereas İn Online learning , we feel more relax because of less sense of instructor control ,at face to face learning , we feel uncomfartable because of more sense of leadership from Instructor.

Online method of education are advantageous for many reasons. First of all, it is a very convenience. A human can use a computer can access Internet anywhere, such as at home, outdoor or even on a bus. This benefit is important especially for people who live in remote or rural areas and cannot commute to school. Moreover, it is also useful for parents who want their young children study at home or any student who prefers to work in their comfort own home. İn addition, online learning is more cheaper than traditional classroom academic or trade course. These courses are unpaid. Students can save money. For example, they do not have to pay for course of fees. Also, One of the biggest advantage of online learning is that although your trainees spread all over the country in different time zones, they can collect them on online learning and you can start your training without waiting participants to come class as in face to face learning. İn addition, in online learning, when your class finish, you can watch it again when you want but in face to face you can not do this.

İn online learning you do not have to act acccording to rules limiting us. You are flexible. Flexibility is certainly one of the most important benefits. One research suggest that online academic courses and learning initiatives are becoming more aware of the needs of people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and this means that people from such backgrounds are in a much better position to learn and progress than they used to be. An according to another research, Evidence shows that there are certain groups of students that benefit from college online learning much more than other groups.

There exist many a website about online learning such as The university of the people, WatchKnowLearn, Open university. For instance,  The University of the People is simply amazing, as the world's first tuition-free online university. The school works similarly to the aforementioned MITx, where students do not have to pay tuition or access fees for courses, but they do require application and exam fees. Although University of the People's online education resources are not 100%  free when it comes to earning course credit or a degree, for what they are offering, it might as well be. The university offers degrees at the associate and bachelor level, and is in the process of accreditation.
